• Be in class on time and prepared for class. Check the notice board for instructions when you first enter the room for appropriate supplies or instruction this should be done before the before the bell rings we do not have time to waste. Each lateness and poor use of class time will be recorded and will significantly impact both your portfolio and participation grades.
• If you are absent for any reason it is your responsibility to find out what happened in class, what homework or supplies may be due the next day etc. Being absent is not an excuse for being unprepared.
• It is expected that you will work hard, listen to suggestions & critique and think about your work reflectively. While it is also expected that you will also work frequently at home... your grade is absolutely dependent on the effort displayed during class everyday.
• All work will be submitted digitally & must be turned in on time and in the proper manner: (Photographed, edited & uploaded with dimensions & media). Work not uploaded to the website in its current state will lose significant credit.
• Extra work time is a necessity for this class. While the Art Center is available both after and during school hours, “Official” extra help hours are Mondays and Thursdays from 2:15 to 2:50. Please let me know in class that day if you are planning to attend extra help.
